Review Procedure
The International Journal of Natural Products and Alternative Medicine (IJNPAM) upholds rigorous standards through a peer review process to ensure the publication of high-quality research that contributes meaningfully to the field of natural products and alternative medicine. Peer review, where experts in the field assess the validity and quality of scientific work, remains a cornerstone of our scholarly publishing process.
Upon receiving a new manuscript, the editorial team conducts a thorough evaluation based on several criteria to determine its suitability for publication. These criteria include authenticity, completeness, ethical approval, proper formatting, originality, innovation, relevance to the field, alignment with the journal’s scope, adherence to scientific writing conventions, and language proficiency. Manuscripts that meet these criteria proceed for further consideration, while those that do not may be rejected.
International Journal of Natural Products and Alternative Medicine (IJNPAM) follows a double-blind peer review system, ensuring that both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other. Reviewers are tasked with evaluating the manuscript based on criteria such as originality, significance, methodology, analysis, clarity, and relevance to the field of natural products and alternative medicine. Their feedback is shared confidentially with the authors, fostering constructive dialogue and opportunities for manuscript improvement.
Once all reviews are completed, the Editor(s)-in-Chief carefully assess the manuscript’s suitability for publication, taking the reviewers’ feedback into account. If accepted, authors will be provided with formatting requirements for final submission. Manuscripts that require revisions must address the reviewers’ comments and meet the formatting standards before resubmission. In cases of rejection, the review process is concluded.
At International Journal of Natural Products and Alternative Medicine (IJNPAM), the peer review process serves as a rigorous mechanism to maintain scholarly excellence and advance the knowledge base in the fields of natural products and alternative medicine.
